Our Spinneret Silicone Cleaning Spray is a patented aerosol product that has high viscosity silicone oil as the main ingredient.
The main characteristic of the silicone oil used in the product is its thermal stability. And resistance to oxidation and carbonization in conditions exposed to high temperatures (above 300 ° C). Silicone oil forms a thin film on the surface of the row and maintains its effect for a long time due to its thermal stability and low volatility.
Thin uniform film on the spinnerets surface;
The thermostable silicone oil is used together with non-toxic and non-flammable solvents to impart mobility to the viscous silicone fluid. The multiple effects of the solvent combination are the dispersion of the silicon oil molecule to form a thin and uniform film on the surface of the rows and improve the spreading capacity of the silicone oil while applying and cleaning the surface of the row.
Another important role of the solvents used in our aerosol is to clean the surface and fine holes of the rows by penetrating inside and removing the greasy film of burned oligomers and polymers. Solvents, which are highly volatile liquids, evaporate leaving only a thin, uniform film of silicone oil inside the holes and the surface of the rows.
PROPELLANTS
The role of gases (known as Propellants) in our spray is dual purpose. The main purpose of the propellants is to discharge the liquid mixture from the pressurized aerosol container in the form of fine spray or mist. This process is known as atomization and helps deposit the product on the spinneret.
Secondly,
Deodorized hydrocarbon or fluorocarbon-based propellants are good solvents for silicone oil and also serve as effective degreasers and cleaners and help clean the surface and holes in the row.
ROLE OF VISCOSITY IN SILICONE OIL
While there is no important and initial role in the viscosity of silicone fluids in performance while using in rows, the viscosity-temperature coefficient is a very important parameter. And it determines the quality of the silicone oil and the performance at temperatures above 300‘C. Our aerosol uses a higher grade of silicone oil that has a viscosity-temperature coefficient. It maintains a uniform viscosity at high temperatures during the application, thus maintaining lubricity.
HIGH STABILITY
The most critical property of the silicone oil used in our spray is the stability of the oil at high temperatures in open exposure conditions. Typically, the high temperature and the presence of air cause oxidation and gelation of the silicone oil, which makes it effective only for a very short period, therefore, it makes the product ineffective.
Our spray uses highly heat-stable silicone oil that maintains the liquid state of the oil even at high temperatures above 300 ° C for a maximum of 96 hours.
